2017.12.02 – Mini Session

I’ve always loved taking pictures. Ever since I was a little kid, I loved looking through a viewfinder and snapping away. The real joy of my job, however, is meeting lovely people. It wouldn’t be too far off to say I’m rather emotionally exuberant, but I’ve just adored every family I’ve had the pleasure of meeting so far. These lovely families were no exception. This was a joint shoot that was a little less joint than originally planned (tiny people are a little less excited about photos when they’re cold), but was still such a joy to shoot. Seeing these beautiful photos of these beautiful people makes my heart swell ♥

I was lucky enough to find us a tree farm that was cool with us doing a shoot while they cut down their trees and I can’t tell you how excited and energized I felt getting back up into the mountains. Big shoutout to Christmas Creek Tree Farm. I’ll definitely be back for more shoots and an actual Christmas tree of my own next year!

Sometimes posed family photos are just so effortless, and this was one of those times.

I love people who are loving and who get silly together ♥

This is it. This is my favourite shot ♥ THE SHEER LOVE, Y’ALL.

Christmas may soon be over, but I’m always down for more mountain mini sesssions! Book yours now here !

  1. Yo. I have mentioned it to you before but I just want to say, my friend, that you are amazing at capturing moments with that camera. All of your photos make me go “these are some dang good people” because while the people shine on their own a photo can enhance how much they shine. You’re doing amazing work! 💙

    1. Aaaaaaaah, this comment ♥ Thank you so so so much, friend! All the lovely people do 90% of the work, I just pretend to be invisible and capture the fun ♥
